Where does SOL GOOD BEAUTY ship from?
All of our products, including our hero product, Sun Water, are shipped from our studio in beautiful Prince Edward Island, Canada.
What are your shipping rates and delivery times?
We offer a flat-rate shipping fee for all orders. For orders over $75 CAD, we offer complimentary standard shipping.
- Standard Shipping (within Canada): Please allow 2-5 business days for delivery after your order has been processed.
- Standard Shipping (to the US): Please allow 5-10 business days for delivery after your order has been processed.
- International Shipping: We are happy to ship to most international locations. Shipping rates and delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location. Please note that delivery times can vary significantly depending on the destination and customs processing.
How long does it take to process an order?
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Yes, we can ship to P.O. boxes within Canada and the US.
What if my package is lost or damaged?
If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately at hello@solgoodbeauty.ca with your order number and a brief description of the issue. We will work with the carrier to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
Returns
What is your return policy?
We want you to be completely happy with your SOL GOOD BEAUTY purchase. If you are not satisfied with your Sun Water for any reason, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery. The product must be returned in its original packaging.
How do I initiate a return?
To start a return, please email us at hello@solgoodbeauty.ca with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions. Please note that return shipping fees may be deducted from your refund.
Can I exchange a product?
Currently, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund. Refunds are typically issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
Are SOL GOOD items final sale?
Discounted or promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
What if I received the wrong product or a defective item?
If you received an incorrect or defective item, please contact us immediately at hello@solgoodbeauty.ca with your order number and a photo of the product. We will promptly arrange for a replacement and cover all shipping costs.

Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! Our formula is crafted with clean, gentle ingredients that are free from harsh chemicals, drying alcohols, and common irritants found in other formulations. It’s designed to hydrate, nourish, and deliver a radiant, sun-kissed glow – even for delicate or reactive skin. We always recommend patch testing 24 hours before first use, especially if you have known sensitivities.
Is it safe for allergies?
Yes! Our tanning water is nut-free, gluten-free, and made without soy or other major allergens. Still, if you have specific allergies, we recommend reviewing the full ingredient list and doing a patch test prior to use.
Is the Sun Water scented?
Yes, the Sun Water is naturally and lightly scented using Jasmine, Vanilla, and Neroli water. The blend of these three waters gives it a soft and luxurious scent that is suitable for all skin types. No traditional self-tanner smell here! It is not harsh or drying, and is free from toxic, hormone-disrupting synthetic fragrances.
Will it clog my pores or cause breakouts?
Not at all! Our formula is non-comedogenic, water-based, free from heavy oils, and is enriched with hydrating ingredients to give your skin a glow when used consistently.
How often should I apply the Sun Water?
The Sun Water gives natural-looking results that allow you to customize your tan until you reach your desired glow. You can safely apply small amounts (3–5 sprays) daily to build or maintain your tan, or you can apply a generous amount (8–10 sprays) twice a week for a deeper, more long-lasting tan. Of course, you can always reapply as often as you’d like depending on your own preferences! This may take some trial and error until you figure out your glow 😊
Can I shower or swim after applying?
Yes, but we recommend waiting 6–8 hours after applying to shower or swim. This allows the tan to develop properly without risking uneven results. We find the best way to apply is at nighttime – simply spray, blend, sleep, and wake up to that beautiful golden hour glow!
What is the best way to apply?
For the best results, we recommend applying the Sun Water as the last step of your nighttime skincare routine. It is also best to exfoliate your skin (removing any dead skin cells) 24 hours before applying tanning products to avoid patchy or uneven results. You can apply during the day as well, but if you do, please wait at least 1–2 hours before applying makeup on top.
Will it transfer to my clothes or bedsheets?
No! Our clear formula is water-based and will not stain or transfer onto clothing or bedding. After the mist dries, you can safely redress or go to sleep.
Where is it made?
Sol Good tanning water is proudly made in Canada in a women-led lab. It is made in small batches, using clean beauty principles and Canadian craftsmanship you can trust!
Is it safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding?
We are proud of our clean and thoughtfully made formula but we would never give out health advice. Although many customers have safely used our formula during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, it is still wise to check with your healthcare provider before using.
